What is the state of the DNA at the end of meiosis I?

And at the end of meiosis IIWhat is the state of the DNA at the end of meiosis I?
Meiosis I is the same as mitosis, so at the end you have two identical cells with the same DNA/ amount of chromosomes

At the end of meiosis II, there are four cells from the original one cell. Each cell has only 23 chromosomes, whereas the original had 46. so at the end the DNA is split. What is the state of the DNA at the end of meiosis I?
each cell has one old strand of dna and 1 new strand .
