I'm kind of confused. I know that DNA is a macromolecule and that it is composed of macromolecules (nucleic acids, etc.) But DNA is a long strand, so what amount of that long strand constitutes a single molecule, a macromolecule, of DNA?
Thanks in advance! How much of a DNA strand forms a single macromolecule of DNA?
'Molecule' and 'macromolecule' aren't units of size鈥?br>
A molecule is at least two atoms put together. A macro molecule is just a large or long strand of molecules of no particular or prescribed size
