Is there a laboratory that performs DNA analysis for the general public?

I have an article of clothing that I found and would like to have DNA analysis performed on it. I was wondering if there is a laboratory that does this kind of work for the general public and what the cost would be. I live in Massachusetts; but perhaps it would be possible to mail it to the laboratory if they excepted such requests.Is there a laboratory that performs DNA analysis for the general public?
Most DNA labs do work for law enforcement and for courts. You can look under your local directory and call and ask. But even if they do it for the general public, I'm sure it would cost you a huge wad of cash.
